Golf tournaments run Thursday to Sunday, and single rounds are rarely listed on their own by the sources we read. What you will usually find here is a golf channel such as Sky Sports Golf, which shows the live tour events and fills the rest of the day with replays.
During the majors and the Ryder Cup, when the sources list the event itself, it gets a row with the start of that day's coverage.
Golf questions
Why is only a channel listed?
Most weeks the sources we read carry golf as a channel, not as single rounds. The channel shows the live tournament when one is on.
When does a round start?
Early groups tee off in the morning local time, but the leaders, and most of the TV coverage, come later in the day.
